Breakable…..

For the past couple of weeks I have had Todd Agnew’s song Breakable in my head. Have you ever listened to it??

Before hearing that song I have Never thought of the Lord that way. He became breakable for us. Think about it. He was up in heaven (the Bible says that Jesus has been from the beginning John 1:1)  just hanging around with with Angels and was all Spirit..a Glorious body..the kind that we are gonna get when we go up there (1 Corinthians 15:52 & 2 Corinthians 3:18)..we shall be changed..shoot, anything is better than the one we got huh? LOL Anyways, He was living it up so to speak until God decided that their was noone down here on earth that could save us….cause lets face it, we can no more save ourselves than we can sanctify ourselves..so God, being the loving and merciful God that He is said welp, I guess I have got to go down there and do it but how? Cause if you remember…NOONE can see God’s face and live (Ex. 33:20).  So God decided then that He would send His only son..His only begotten (adjective:  (of offspring) generated by procreation) so that we might be saved.

After listening to that song I just can’t/Don’t look the same way at Jesus as I did before. I mean I always think of Jesus as coming as a babe for us to be redeemed/saved but I never thought of it as Him becoming “breakable”. He literally had to become “breakable” to save us. He had to go from perfect (Spirit) to flesh (breakable) for us. Have you ever thoguht of it that way before? For me it brings a whole new light to Him.

Thanks Todd for your service to the Lord through your music. (I own everyone of your cd’s! LOL) And on them you can see your growth in the Lord. It is amazing. I know that He will never read my blog but miracles DO happen every day! LOL

Well, I’m outta here to go shopping for the expansion of the goat fence and then get that done.
