My Grace is Sufficient for You
You know the drill. Things are going well, no crisis, no conflicts to speak of, pretty much smooth sailing.
Then seemingly out of nowhere, a storm hits. Maybe it’s a crisis, or a hardship. Maybe it’s a personal tragedy.
So what do you do when a hurricane-force storm hits and water is filling your boat?
Answer: You take heart. Because you are not alone.
When Paul was at sea on his way to Rome and the mighty tempest hit him and the others on board, he was able to courageously encourage others. He told them, “But take courage! None of you will lose your lives, even though the ship will go down. For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me” (Acts 27:22-23).
God was with him
How was Paul able to be so confident?
He was conscious of the presence of God in the face of danger. He knew that God was there with him.
And God is with us in our storms as well. God will always give us what we need when we need it.
You remember that Paul had what he called his “thorn in the flesh,” which was presumably some kind of physical disability or illness. He asked the Lord three times to remove it (see 2 Corinthians 12).
God’s answer was, “My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Corinthians 12:9), which is another way of saying, “I will be with you, Paul. Instead of a healing, I will personally be there in a special and sufficient way.”
Now it is the Lord
A. B. Simpson wrote these words:
“Once it was the Blessing, now it is the Lord.
Once it was the Feeling, now it is His Word.
Once His Gifts I wanted, now the Giver alone.
Once I sought Healing, now Himself alone.”
God is with you right now, regardless of the storm or even the shipwreck. We may not hear an audible voice, but you may hear that “still small voice” of God’s Holy Spirit. Or He will speak to you through His Word.
Then you, like Paul, can reassure others that “the Lord is in control.”
Time and time again, God reminded Paul of His presence.
1. He was there when Paul was in jail in Jerusalem, as Jesus told him to “be courageous!” (Acts 23:11)
2. It happened in 2 Timothy 4:16-17 when Paul said, “All deserted me . . . but the Lord stood by me.”
3. And it happened here in Acts 27, in the midst of the storm.
When the boss calls you in his office . . .
You can take heart in the face of danger or uncertainty because you are aware of God’s presence with you.
When your boss says, “I’m really sorry, but I’m going to have to let you go!” Or when the doctor says, “The test results are back and I need you to come in.” Or when the telephone rings and someone says, “There’s been an accident.”
You are not alone. The Lord is standing next to you. He cares. Jesus said, “Lo, I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
I do not really understand. I have been hearing about some type of revival that is suppose to be coming to and on the church that is on the current body of Christ. Unless they are speaking of some other type of revival than the normal definition. They are in great error. For the Spirit of God and the bible say that this “end Time revival” is not one of truth but of lies. It will be and is in the current makings of the great falling away when the church heaps up for themselves a (carnal) doctrine of Jesus and the gospel for their itching ears.
The great exploits spoken of by Daniel the Prophet is one that consist mostly of judgment and that is the time in which we are also just beginning to enter. It is a time as it has not been, a time wherein the people of God must be as it is written: “be watchful and sober”. It is a time of deception and its corresponding apostasy with the church moving more and more worldly.
I have never seen so many Apostles, Prophets, Bishops, etc.. In all my days. They seem to love titles and positions as they compete for the hearts of men. The vast majority the Lord has not called nor has HE risen them up. I sit in amazement at the blindness of those who should and are suppose to know their God, Jesus.

In our work church we have been using several different bibles because the spirit that has been on them have not been of God (Jesus). The new translations of the NIV (New International Version): the archaeological and the new translation copy write 2009 and the New Living Translation copy write 1996. I quit using the new printed version of the New American Standard Bible also. All of these four listed above have at the very least carnal translations made for and from the flesh of man and more accurately lack the Spirit of God upon them and the words. These are evil bibles the works of the flesh but not as bad as the non-gender specific bibles and the gay bibles that are now available.
I went to the store and started checking for a good and real bible. It seemed that almost all of the bibles copyrighted 1996 and forward (2010) were not of God, each lacked the anointing of the Living God upon the words. There was no Spirit. Who would ever believe such and thing could happen to the Word of God, which is written; My Words are Spirit and they are Life: Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
I purchased a NKJV (New King James Version) copyright 1992. It is good.
I will check out my 21st century King James Version of the Bible next. Come back for the report. I fear I will find the same, since the Lord Jesus has already sent the spirit of delusion to all of those whose hearts are not open to the truth so that they will believe the lie. Everyone ‘believes’ they understand the Word of God but they fail to realize in their mind and heart that they only know that which either they have learned on their own or that which satan has taught them or that which Holy Spirit has taught them. We forget or don’t know that God speaks to a person where they r at. HE doesn’t speak to them above their level. HE doesn’t speak Sspiritual doctorate level to 10th grade levelers, even though all seem to believe themselves to be at the higher and highest levels. When one who truly sees and hears and talks with God/Jesus; very few understand; the mind of most blank-out; the rest get mad. If people will read the bible (New Testament in this case would be better) they would see the same thing in it as in the church today; nothing has changed, so very sad. How can after 2000 years the church be the same as it was in Jerusalem? Our job, at whatever level we are at is to ensure that we grow and know HIS voice in all of its forms/ways HE speaks and KNOWING which ONE is truly HIS. Like Holy Spirit said, I cannot talk to you as spiritual because you are carnal with all of your strife.
Have you ever heard, “why can’t you be like this person or why can’t you be like that person?” Does that or has that ever made you a better person? No it sure doesn’t. Creates a lot of “why can’t I be good enough?” and a lot of “if only I was….”. Or makes you try even harder to be something that you will NEVER be. Especially to the person who has ever told you that. No matter how hard you try, you will never be what ever it is that they wanted you to be.
You know why? Because trying to be “like someone else” is impossible. God made everyone different. Even twins are different on the inside. On the outside, you can try to dress like someone, have your hair cut like someone, and look like them as much as you can…but does that make you them? No..just makes you “look” like them is all.
No matter how hard you try, you will never be someone else other than yourself so why try? Should you try to better yourself? Yeah of course, but not to the extent of trying to please others with it. Because if you go that route, you will fail every time. There will always be something different that thay will find to “Not like” or want you to “change”.
Pleasing people is no way to live. But pleasing God is. If it is pleasing to God, go for it. If it is pleasing to you after it is pleasing to God…yeah! That is an extra plus! (cause sometimes God will ask us to do things we don’t like….LOL)

Be yourself…everyone else is already taken!
Well, we lost one of our faithful members a couple of days ago. He went to a different shift. He will be missed. I had to miss the meeting yesterday due to my unavoidable work load which took me through and past the break time. However, they read from Psa. 107:20 and concentrated their talk on He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
My King and My God, Jesus; I come before you, even your throne of Grace and power. The enemy and his covens seek to derail thy ways and to work wickedness against your people. Father God, let not their ways prosper or the intents of their hearts. Let them fall backwards and their wisdom to be made as foolishness. Fustrate their ways; make the diviners mad but shield your people and hedge about them in your holy love. Let not the arrows perice or the curse land. Bring repentance unto your people that they may truely be humble before you. Let the enemy be in confusion and stumble in their confoundment! Take them and their servants in words of their mouth and the flame of their candle. But be the fire in my heart and the heart of those who call upon thy name. Be wisdom in our hearts and comprehension in our minds that we may truely bow low before the in all we do and say and think. In the name above every name, Jesus. Amen and Amen.
I haven’t written much on the work prayer church group this past week or so. But the Lord has allowed us to loose an earth bound human spirit that died 11 years ago; cast out some demons from the same person. Which has a few more to deal with, maybe this week.
HE has also healed a knee of another person. Within three hours the person reported the pain was gone and the swelling was going down.
Praise the Living God, Jesus! Let HIM be exalted in all the earth and HIS name go forth as Lightening.
Lord, the enemy gaped at me and sent their Abjects, even with magickal words. I knew not their ways in the secret dark places; O Lord but you who sees all things, in your prefect timing did rescue me from their secret ways and the destruction of my soul. You delivered me O Lord for your name sake because I belong to you. Again my King you have taught me the way of the wiles of the Evil One! You O Most High God, Lord of all the Cosmos have lifted me up in thy great loving kindness, in thy holy grace you have been merciful to me, your son. May the mountains rejoice and the planets humble themselves for I belong unto you my Lord, my King, and my God. Let me walk in obedience Oh, and let the enemy greatly fear! Let the Abjects and their minions knock their knees and tremble. Let them say our gates are broken down because HE loves him and keeps him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
